Moravský Podzim: JÓHANN JÓHANNSSON IBM 1401

 

The early opus of Icelandic author Jóhannsson, IBM 1401, chronicles the story of the first computer ever brought to Iceland.
The dance component, signed by Erna Ómarsdóttir, created an expressively spontaneous counterpoint to the melancholic music.
Jóhannsson's role in the electronics was taken over by the well-known Icelandic musician Úlfur Eldjárn.
