PRAGUE POP SYMPHONICS

Romance like a movie screen at the Love Story concert! On St. Valentine’s Day we will fill the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House in Prague with romantic music. In a carefully curated programme, we have focused on music from the most romantic films of all time. We will play tunes from popular films such as Forrest Gump, Love Actually, Pearl Harbor, La La Land, The Bodyguard, Beauty and the Beast and many others. Whether you like epic songs or intimate solo piano melodies, there’s something for everyone.

You can look forward to a large symphony orchestra under the baton of conductor Marek Šedivý. Iconic hits will be sung by the singer MAKY. And since we pride ourselves on offering our audience more than just listening to music, we will enrich the musical programme with a light show, instrumental soloists, dance couple performances, visual and scenic effects, and there will also be a themed photo booth. The moderator Marek Šulc will guide you through the whole evening. In addition, the event will offer an unusual opportunity to get acquainted.

On 5.1.2025, a concert organized by the Charity of the Czech Republic in support of the Three kings’ collection took place in the Městské divadlo Brno.

ROsound regularly sounds the event for the audience in the MDB hall and the whole concert is broadcast live on ČT1.

The audience supported the Three Kings’ collection by sending donations in the record amount of CZK 2,687,000.

This year’s performers included:

REALIZATION OF THE EVENT ” VOJTĚCH DYK & D.Y.K. & ROSOUND IN O2 ARENA”

ROsound had the honour to participate in the realization of the concert VOJTĚCH DYK & D.Y.K. in O2 arena.
Our team of experts provided top-notch technical support, which included sound and light production.
Unique was the use of the immersive sound system “L-ISA” by L’Acoustics.

A big thank you to the whole High Lite Touring team (L’Acoustics supplier headed by Radek Lesa – sound designer of the project).
These teams of people contributed to creating an exceptional sound atmosphere.
The whole system was connected on timecode using premium digital mixing consoles YAMAHA RIVAGE PM7 for F.O.H. and YAMAHA PM3 for monitor direction with Yamaha RPio stage boxes. A total of 22 channels of SHURE Axient wireless system, 16 SHURE PSM1000 stereo in-ear monitoring transmitters, 16 X15 HiQ monitors and lots of cabling were used on stage.
Our experience and professional approach contributed to making the concert an unforgettable experience for everyone present.

The captivating atmosphere of Špilberk Castle in Brno was the perfect venue for the highlight of Queenie’s 18th birthday summer tour!

Traditional open-air music festival, which every year brings unforgettable musical evenings to the inhabitants and visitors of Brno in the large castle courtyard. In addition to the great symphonic works, it also offers connections with other genres under the summer sky and thus tries to make classical music accessible to those who might not otherwise have access to it.

The 25th anniversary edition of the festival offered great symphonic works, operatic arias and duets as well as famous film melodies.

Summer Shakespeare Festival Brno

Summer Shakespeare Festivals are already an inseparable summer phenomenon in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The festival was initiated by President Václav Havel. He opened Prague Castle to artists in the early 1990s to attract the public. The first Shakespeare performance took place here in 1990 and since 1998 the festival has been held regularly. In 1999 and 2000, Václav Havel granted the festival his personal patronage.

The Summer Shakespeare Festival is the oldest and largest open-air theatre festival in Europe dedicated to the performance of the works of William Shakespeare. The festival lasts from the end of June to the beginning of September and takes place on open stages in PRAGUE (in the Supreme Purkrab of Prague Castle and since 2007 also in the courtyard of the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts on Malostranské náměstí 13), in BRNO (Špilberk Castle), in OSTRAVA (Silesian Ostrava Castle) and in BRATISLAVA (Bratislava Castle).

Singer Vojtěch Dyk will return with the successful original music project D.Y.K. In September, he will start a tour combining hits from the singer’s album D.Y.K. and new songs.

The album D.Y.K., on which Vojtěch Dyk collaborated with multiple Grammy winner Ondřej Pivec, was recorded in New York and earned Vojtěch Dyk a nomination for the Anděl Award in the Singer of the Year category. Album D.Y.K. was recorded entirely in English, while the songs that are being created now receive Czech lyrics.

The Moravian Autumn Festival ranks among the most important cultural events in the Czech Republic. It was founded as the Brno International Music Festival in 1966, when the activities of Brno’s artistic institutions were regaining an international dimension after years of rigid isolation, and the first year of the festival already had a very positive response.

ROsound provides all technical production of the festival.

Moravian Autumn invites to Brno orchestras that have so far passed Europe by, chamber ensembles belonging to the world’s top ensembles, soloists gracing the world’s stages. The festival seeks new and interesting dramaturgical lines, addresses living authors, draws attention to young and talented performers and gives them the opportunity to excel.

The theme of this year’s 52nd edition was ANGELOI – ANCHORS or Parallel Histories of Music. According to the philosopher Yakov Druskin, a herald, angelos in Greek, is a being who lives in a parallel world and whose life passes in stillness. It is not a monotonous, empty or boring life, because monotony, emptiness and boredom come from time, which does not exist in the parallel world. The heralds are not burdened by time and feel eternity (Vítězslav Mikeš – festival dramaturg).

About the concert

It’s been a long 17 years since we first walked the streets of Lost Heaven. We’ve played Mafia for the same 17 years knowing that it is one of the best games ever made in the Czech Republic. Its sequel, Mafia II, was on the same wave. The games that made us famous all over the world are now coming back to the Czech Republic.

On March 4, 2020, a unique concert took place at the Forum Karlín in Prague, full of songs that many of us still remember with nostalgia…:)
